    Senior Shoot in Downtown Frederick

I have loved this beautiful girl since was born.  She’s the daughter of  my very close friends.  It was a bitter sweet morning for her mom and I.  It was fun working with such a gorgeous girl with the sweetest personality…but man did we feel old and nostalgic and even a little emotional at times.  There was a lot of hugging going on in the streets of Frederick this morning.

5 Month Old Baby W’s Photo Shoot

Baby W is 5 months old and a very lucky little bot today.  He is visiting from out of town and came for pictures with his Mommy and both of his Grandmas.   He’s not quite sitting up on his own,  so Mom stayed very close to catch him when he toppled over.

    Baby K’s Newborn Photography Session

Baby K was exactly two weeks old today. She didn’t wake up when Mommy undressed hera nd we went straight to work. She let me pose her any way I wanted without so much as a whimper. These are just a few of the sets/poses we were able to get.

    Baby F is One!

Baby F turned one this week and Mom and Dad brought her back to the studio for a cake smash session.  She did not disappoint! She fell asleep in the car and woke up  in my driveway. It took her a while to warm up.  She soon came to realize I was no threat and was crawling into my lap by the end of the session.

Walking is tough work.  Look at her concentration face. ♥

    The Tiniest Newborn Photography Session

As you know I never use my customer’s names on the blog.  So it’s going to be tough to keep these guys anonymous.  Let’s just say this is the daughter of a band member of one of my favorite bands.  Baby B couldn’t wait to get here…so she didn’t.  She was really early and consequently holds the record for my smallest newborn.  She wasn’t even 5 lbs at the time of the shoot.  I knew she would be coming (grandma bought  mommy a gift certificate) so I altered my rock star set that is usually for the baby boys.  I swapped the black and whites skull and cross bones for a pink one.  Daddy added the guitar and his favorite band’s concert T and Baby B’s very personalized set was ready for her.  I was so happy to finally have her in the studio.  What a sweet baby.

One of the drums from Daddy’s new drum set. Sorry, this one isn’t a studio prop.
