This was the perfect baby! She went right to sleep and stayed that way no matter what position I put her in. Apparently 10 days old with a touch of jaundice is the perfect recipe. Mom and Dad were really cool to work with too. It was nice to meet everyone today. Big thank you to my friends Laura and Lisa for referring them…I posted a few more shots than I usually do for you guys.
Watching this mommy talk to her 8 mos old baby boy confirmed my belief that babies are so much smarter than we think. She explained everything that was going on and why. At one point she said “you will need to use two hands to pick that up”, and he used two hands. Great morning. Great shots. Beautiful subjects.
3 little girls! Baby ‘O’ has the best big sisters ever. The girls were not even 2 and 4 yet and were just the sweetest most cooperative little angels. I was anticipating a lot of begging and bribery, but these girls just did what ever we asked. I think this might be the only time I have ever allowed a 3 year old to hold a newborn in the studio. It was wonderful to meet them today!
Baby ‘C’ is a family friend/relative… her great grandma is my kid’s grandma. She is absolutely beautiful. She is also very strong and not so sleepy today. We were very patient and got some beautiful shots of her. I know her Mommy has been looking forward to this for about 9 months. It was good to see everybody again.
