This mornings shoot was the granddaughter of a friend of mine. She is a beautiful little 3 month old girl. I tend to have a hard time capturing the 3 month old smile. I can get them laughing just fine, but the attention span is so short that as soon as I peek behind the camera the smile is gone. I was determined this morning and not only got the elusive smile, got her looking at the camera as well. Thanks to Chris for sending your daughter over for pictures.

This little guy is 19 months old. He has the sweetest personality, mommy’s green eyes and the best smile. I had so much fun playing with him yesterday morning. It was their first time in the studio. I hope to see them again.

The twins will be one next week! They are as cute as they are mobile. Many of you know how hard a single one year old can make a shoot. Just imagine. Mom was awesome. She had great ideas (as usual), didn’t get frustrated, and knew when it was time to move on. She made a birthday cake for the babies last set and we let them go at it. Afterward they took a bath in my kitchen sink. Overall it was a great shoot and a lot of fun…for me at least.

It was very nice hanging out in the with this family for a few hours yesterday. Their daughter was a month old, but against the odds, she stayed asleep as long as I needed her to. Mom and Dad were awesome. Their future is bright. Great to meet them.

I couldn’t believe Mommy is due next month. She looks fantastic. We accomplished a lot in an hour. We got a few maternity shots, some family pictures and some of just the 2 year old. Mom and I agreed that she did a great job of being cute. I struggled with which shots to post…variety or my favorites. Went with my favorites. She had a ball with the tea party, those images were stand outs for me. It was great to meet this family today. I’m sure you will see more of them next month. Big thank you to Laura for referring your friends to me!
