I have been working with this family for five years now and absolutely adore them. Big sister is five and, not so little, little brother is only 2. It’s tough being a 2 year old who looks like he could be 3 or 4. People expect more from you than you are capable of. Although this little guy is extremely smart, he is still very much a two year old boy. A little tough to wrangle. Big sister kept asking to play with the jack-in-the-box, but we wouldn’t let her because it clashed with their outfits. We were nearing the end of the session and had no luck getting little brother to go anywhere near his sister for a picture. I suggested maybe we let big sis play with the desired toy, in hopes that little bro would come see what she was doing. We could always print the images in black and white. Victory! The two of them sat together and giggled every time jack flew out of the box. You can look forward to seeing more from this family in a few weeks when I head out to their place to shoot their big family Easter egg hunt. I can’t wait.

This is the face you make when you little brother steps on you.

I have a very strange sense of humor. If it make me laugh I shoot it. I thought his little crying face was both hysterical and adorable.
