It was so nice to meet baby T, his mommy and daddy and his pup Huey this morning. Baby T was a very big boy. I was a little nervous when mom told me he was already a month old and weighed over 11 lbs. He was perfect! He went right to sleep and slept through all of my poses…even the Tonka Truck pose which I wasn’t even sure he would fit in. I have been in a creative mood this week and have been focused on making a few more newborn boy props/outfits. Baby T was the first baby to model my Newborn Paper Boy set. I have been asked a few times if I have any bow ties. I know that they are all over pinterest and lots of photographers use them, I just wasn’t impressed with the poses. So I decided to work on that. I added a cap, some leather suspenders, a diaper cover and a mini newspaper and have found a use for a newborn bow tie worthy of Baby Face Photography. I made the same thing in a baby blue gingham, but so far I have only used the hat with the golf prop. Totally open to suggestions! The red checked tie is a new prop this week as well. I made that in a baby blue gingham as well. There are a bunch of new things in the studio this week. Stay tuned.
