Baby B’s Newborn Photography Session * Frederick MD Newborn Photographer

Beautiful Baby B came for her very first photo shoot yesterday.  Just twelve days new and not quite 6 lbs, she was a perfect little subject.  Tiny but strong, she didn’t have to cooperate, but she did. Mom brought along 2 blankets that family members had made for baby B and a great little mermaid outfit. I am a self professed prop hoarder, always on the look out for something creative to put a baby in.  A few years ago I found this clear plastic shell shaped punch bowl and painted it to look like a shell, but never quite figured out how to use it until I met Baby B. We got in at least a dozen more sets, but these were my favorite from her session.

Andrew’s College Grad Pictures * Frederick MD Photographer

I know this shoot doesn’t really fit into my usual genera of photography anymore, but I love how the pictures turned out and in my eyes Andrew will always be that fearless boy next door riding his skate board down the cul de sac with no shoes or shirt.  Andrew is my neighbor and I have been photographing him and his brothers and sister since he was 6 years old.  He just graduated from college, has a great job adorable girlfriend, obviously he’s very handsome and his mom really wanted college grad pics.  He canceled on us several times before we got smart and included said adorable girlfriend. This is a pretty smart family none of the boys would miss an opportunity to take an hour and make both their mom and girlfriend happy. Here are a few of my favorites from our session at College Park.

Sibling Photography Session * Frederick MD Family Photographer

It has been about ten years since I last saw this family.  Mom brought me some of her favorite shots from our last session.  I love that.  The kids were so cute and little back then.  Now they are three gorgeous teens.  Everyone was cooperative and polite and wonderful to work with.  Our mission was to get 5 great shots of the kids together in different poses and backgrounds to replace the ones we did 10 years ago.  We got a lot more than that! Here are a few of my favorites.

Baby R’s Newborn Photography Session * Frederick MD Newborn Photographer

It was wonderful to meet Baby R and her mommy and daddy last night.  They drove up from Washington DC with their gorgeous new bundle to use the gift certificate that Daddy’s friends from work gave them.  There is no better compliment to a photographer than to refer your friends with a gift certificate.  Baby R was three weeks old, and not very sleepy at all.  She was still a really good baby.  We got lots of big bright eyed shots before she finally fell asleep, that’s when I noticed her gorgeous long baby eyelashes.  She is such a pretty baby.  Here are some of my favorites from her session:

Baby L’s Newborn Photography Session * Frederick MD Newborn Photographer

Meet 8 day old baby L.  Isn’t he adorable? I thought he was going to be a breeze to work with, and he was for a little while.  Mommy fed him and went right to sleep, so we knocked out some of the harder poses first.  As soon as we started on the easy poses he woke up… hungry.  I think he’s at the beginning of a growth spurt.  He never really settled after that.  We still got a few more poses out of him, he was just awake for most of them.  Fortunately he’s even cuter when he’s awake. Mommy brought along some great props for him, as well as his newly 2 year old big sister Ms N.  She stole the show and my heart when she reached for my hand as soon as she walked in the door. Oh my word, they are such beautiful children. My grandson Logan looks like a Irish Man, and a golfer, he is adorable. I just love the picture of Logan and Natalie….cherish those fond memories of having a brother and a sister! When I viewed the picture it brought back memories. When you were Natalie’s age and looking at her silhouette reminds me of the look you once portrayed when sitting next to your brother Nick. My grandchildren are very special and love by both Gigi and Papa.
