When I heard mom was going to be induced on St. Patrick’s day and the very Irish names these babies would have I was inspired. Of course mom asked if I had anything Irish we could include in the session. It’s not a popular photo holiday. All I had was a glittery shamrock. I started out making a completely different hat for the baby boy ‘baby R’. I abandoned it and decided to try to make a little cap instead. I made shamrock shaped flowers for the baby girl’s headband, also ‘baby R’. I was so happy with them I made little boy and girl bunny hats and carrots. It was a good week. As the luck of the Irish would have it, two perfectly adorable and cooperative babies arrived at the studio, and everything fit.
