The butterfly in the jar isn’t real but it’s a fantastic prop and they picked up a bunch of colorful roses on the way.  We started in the studio, but I really wasn’t feeling it.  When I suggested we move outside to my back yard the little girl asked if she had to wear her shoes.  That’s around the time I fell in love with her.  I made sure we documented the holiness of the occasion and moved on to capturing who she really is… a playful little flower child.
